Natural Mode Shallow Reef.. slightly more blues?

So I overall like the shallow reef setting (natural mode) but want to add a tad more blues, but not enough to have the deep reef setting.

I'm currently at 0 feet for my depth. If I go to 12 feet, or greater, will it

A) decrease relative intensity

and

B) include more blues throughout the regular day?

As the depth offset increases, the intensity of the red, green and cool white channels are decreased at a constant rate. So effectively it would appear to increase the amount of the blues and ultra-violet, while creating a more blue look without decreasing intensity.

So it does what I'm looking to do it sounds like. Thanks Alex.. Any idea what the different depths are and what effects that is on the decrease of white, red, green?

In essence, if you go deep enough on the shallow profile, would you get the "deep reef" natural profile?

So I went from 0ft on the natural shallow reef to 30ft and the difference is amazing. Thanks for answering this question Alex.. I was hesitant to mess around with my profile not knowing what it does.

The question I have is when I keep adding depth, it doesn't take away from intensity? Pretty much my intensity for the last year has been 100% at 0ft depth. So now it's 100% at 30ft depth, now does that mean the deeper I go the less intense my whites are, and eventually if I go deep enough will it turn into the deep reef profile?

Sorry for the questions here, but I just want to understand exactly how this works as I tweak it.

Bump for a good discussion for shallow reef settings. So far my corals love this template the most. Wondering if we can see the actual settings for each depth difference. Also wondering if the channels are linear or different percentages.

I've since changed to Radiant Color setting at 75% intensity, and the difference is amazing..

I'll be following along as I'm curious.. this baffled me so I just gave up.
