Natural Reef Lighting

I am fairly new to the hobby and I was wondering if anyone out there has used natural light (say from a sky-light) to supplement or replace reef lighting successfully. If so, how did you accomplish it? Thank you very much.

Yes , cant get natural sun light from a bulb.
