These are deep water, very cold water species. They should never be bought or sold as they will usually die within a few weeks from starvation and atmospheric/temp issues.

Agree with Freed. Even the highest qualified professionals have a VERY hard time maintaining them long term in well financed university or privately owned aquariums.

Another like Mother. Also keep in mind that wild population numbers are unknown. They look cool, but apparently aren't very active.
