Need 180 advice-Ben&bobbi's 180 upgrade build

I think you will be fine. Sometimes I find myself in MAXIMIZATION mode...if X is good, then XX is better, and XXXXXXXXXXX is great!!!

haven't let the shattered sump stop my progress!

got the second coat of sealer in the stand. i read about others using it with success on here, but no plans to test it. bought it at Lowe's for $20, and liquid nails in all the cracks (except one, and i took it out with me!). I am probably going to still put a shower curtain down too.

getting closer on the tile, should pick it up saturday. then i can move the tank into it's new home!

just a little update.
I got the tile down this past weekend, grouted them last night and going to move the tank over, run the wire and replace the receptacle and drop the network cable (for my christmas present - controller) this weekend!

i think at that point i will transfer the build over to the big tank forum and add the link here to the new thread. hopefully all you helping me will be interested enough to follow the build and help me over there too!

i deleted the old routing pic without thinking, so here's the updated one anyway!

Just a little update.....

A few months back it got very busy at work. I think the fish were trying to tell me something. I did look the tank over, and no one managed to escape!

we decided to get rid of the calcium reactor. I was just not having any luck getting it to stay consistant, and don't have the time to keep fighting it. We are replacing it with a couple dosing pump (medical style) and Randy's 2-part.

The lights are getting replaced very shortly, we are going to try the hamiltons 14K this time around.

But after a little time, turned the reactor off for several weeks and things started looking better. Our Alk was not even readable on the test kit. We pretty much had a brown coral collection. We did have a few nice bright white ones too. :(

We started dosing the 2-part manually. I can't wait to get the pumps setup. These aren't the best pics, but the color is coming back!
