need a cheap wide angle lens for my d80

just need to know a model to search for? Or any one know of any good places to buy used equipment??

I have like $150 budget (less would be good too)and just need something in a wide angle to throw on the camera

any suggestions??

Look for a used Tokina 12-24. It's going to be hard to find anything decent for $150

and used is just fine. there has to be a camera forum with a decent used section I would think. Know of any??

I just need a larger area than the lenses I already have. I dontintend on using it much.

any piece of crap models that come to mind that will fit??

Are you on Nikoncafe??? They're probably the best for Nikon only. Keep an eye on B&H used section.

Those Nikon kit lenses can put out some really nice shots. Not a bad lens to have in your bag.

Nikkor 18-70 AF-S DX. Get one used at KEH for $150.

Want a dual purpose lens? Try the Nikon 28-105. You have a D80 so it will AF on this body. The 28-105 has a macro switch that is very usable in a pinch (1:2). I have this lens and I love it. It's also FX compatible so you can use it if you move on to FX in the future.

I already bought the $112 shipped nikon 18-55.

I already have a 28-85 and my 90mm macro. Hopefully this will get me the extra range I need.
