Need A Protein Skimmer

I was looking for a protein skimmer that is good, cheap and very simple. What skimmers would you recomend.

People may flame me for this but i was never very happy with my aquaC urchin on my 55. So i went way overboard on my latest tank. Precision Marine CV426 on a 20 gal, should be enough I have heard great things about the SuperSkimmer, but you have to do a few mods to get it going right. I would do the superskimmer for price, or the ASM for gaurunteed (sp?) skimming efficiency.

for a HOB, i have a reef octopus (check premium aquatics). it's doing super well and pulling out super gunk from my tank. i'm only into my first week of cycling and the organics it's pulling out is THICK AND DARK. i have filtered sea water (from the pacific ocean, san diego). you should give it a try.
