need a reef fish that eats soft corals

I have a 65 gallon with lps, a few sps, and some softies that have really started to overgrow the tank. The mushrooms seem to be taking over!

Currently I have a yellow tang, 2 small percs, a six line wrasse and a royal gramma. Any other fish I should try that might eat the mushrooms... Yeah, I realize I would be introducing a fish that is not reef safe, but I really have no other choice. :mixed:

Any suggestions would be highly appreciated!

I had a Pearlscale Butterfly that ate every mushroom in my tank. The fish was prettier than the mushroooms, so I didn't mind. It also ate the tentacles off button polyps.

the larger Angelfish (Emperor, Koran, blue-faced, Queen, etc.) and even some dwarfs, some wrasses, butterflies, triggers....

Just snip the heads off with a pair of sissors, then if it comes back, as some will, snip the new head off.

I would second frag them and sell them.

On many tanks snipping off heads is simply impossible. cant get the rock out or my hand in.
