Need acrylic help

Alright all you fellow nanoers, someone ought to be able to help me with this. I'm getting a 29 gallon acrylic tank, and I wanna build my own internal overflow for it. I've read "DIY" pin method on acrylic, I can build the overflow. Where my problem is, how should I install it, what works the best?

Some people like to go for a shallower, rear-center overflow. personally, I put mine in the right back corner. Though though hindsight, I think I'd rather have a longer but more shallow center overflow and build up the LR around it.

It will go on the corner, but what is the best way to glue it in.
