Need Acrylic

I am looking for an acrylic tank with a footprint of atleast 36x12 I am wanting to order a Odontodactylus scyllarus and really dont want to risk it in a glass tank so if any one has something that would work for a mantis that gets to 12" let me know thanks

PS I can trade glass tanks for one if needed I have over a hundred glass tanks sitting empty

i have a 33long that had a 9"mantis in it for over a year. what do you have in the way of a "cube" tank? I'm looking for a square tank but not too tall

I have been keeping mantis shrimp in glass tanks for years with no problems...yes, they can break glass, but the probablity is almost zero that they actually will. In order to get the shimp to break the glass, you'd have to hold a prey items against the out side glass and the shrimp would be attempting to stun it. Get a "spearer" if you're worried about a "clubber." Got over a hundred tanks huh....................sorry, you got me to daydreaming about another mantis tank....good luck.

sorry no cubes I guess I could set an old 55 up for now but dont want to come home to a wet floor and dead pet...

and as far as the 100 tanks there is actually more than that but not many more they are in a storage room in my basement you can barely walk into the room they are packed so tight the room is 8'x24' with 7' ceilings and is packed to teh hilt kinda sucks that one or tow of the tnaks I want to set up are close to 20' behind the front of the stack

You'll be fine with a glass tank. Post the question in the mantis forum if you have doubts.

largest empty tanks I have are 55s all the bigger omes have fish in them mostly FW
