great looking skimmer looks like its going to be a beast, I would diy mine, but with the time loss from family and work. wow that's a lot of digging, LoL. on my tank when I get ready to frame it all in, I will make it to where no sand is seeing..covered 5"of the bottom so viewing will be 90"L x 48"W x 25"H, cut off 3" on each side so I don't have to look at bare walls..keep em coming..oh how are those lm3 do you have to clean any salt creep from, I went ahead and got the large LM3 pendent with the glass so cleaning will be a breeze.

Ive never had an issue with the Luminarcs having salt creep. they are a little dusty on the outside but thats about it. Your idea is a good one for the viewing panel. Im eventually going to do the same with a thick piece of molding that frames the viewing area. My set up is a bit tricky though..One half (office side) is going to be all woodwork and the living room side is going to have a white frame. I am going to use the same frame material...just stain one side of it so it matches the office...HOPEFULLY, I'll get around to it within a month..this so called quick project I told my wife is taking a bit longer than expected...gotta finish this sucker...maybe one day I will be lucky enough to be on TOTM.

that will do the job too, tank came in today and absolutely flawless and just as plan no scratches, cant believe it after 2 months, finally made it to my home...will be posting up thread so check me out, thanks bob

Sorry you're selling, sounds like a great deal.

No need to be sorry I just don't have time for this anymore..has nothing to do with the mortgage industry....but yeah, it sucks anyways....oh well
