Need advice/help

Hello, I'm fairly new to hobby so apologies if this covered somewhere else and I'm not sure if this is the right forum, however since it involves zoanthids, thought I'd start here.

Anyone have a good/safe way to get rid of what looks like hair algae (and I may be wrong as to what it is) growing between the polyps in this bunch, I tried to remove with tweezers but no good they came back within a weak. I don't see them Growing anywhere else in my tank so I think they are isolated to this bunch if that makes any sense.

Hydrogen Peroxide Dip It.

30 Seconds Pure Peroxide

5 Minutes 80 Percent Saltwater / 20 Percent Peroxide

Be careful it's not byropsis, hard to tell on the picture so google it to have a look. If so get it out of your tank . Smothers everything

Good call on the byropsis, I think that is what it is, I have seen hair algae and that's why I said I wasn't sure that's what it was. Will the peroxide dip do the trick on this type of algae?

I Hear Bryopsis is Nasty Resilient but Try It and let us know.

If it Spreads you will have a Nightmare on Your Hands you Do Not Want!

I have heard many many Horror Stories of Bryopsis including People Taking Down Tanks and Redoing Them or Quitting the Hobby!

It is No Joke.

Dip Immediately.

Hi mosh. Do no take the risk . If I knew about byropsis what I know now that thing would be out of my tank in a heart beat.

Unfortunately byropsis in my zoanthids did not constitute a family emergency at work, so I didn't get to do the dip until a little bit ago. I'll post results in a couple days.

Ok so it looks like the h202 did the trick, but the Zoos have been slow to open back up. They were ghost white for a few days, but I am starting to seem some color coming back
