Need Advice on Local Store for In-Wall

I just purchased a home with a 6-7 foot wall (with closet behind the wall for access) where I'd like to have an in-wall aquarium "built" and installed. Ideally, I'd like the installers to give exact specs to my contractor for the wall demo and re-finishing then have the installers spec out (with some input from me) and put everything together for me. Can anyone please give me some advice on installers/shops to contact and/or avoid? The house is located near Beverly Glen and Mullholland.

I've got a call into Mark's Aquarium (on Ventura, pretty close to the house), but that's about the only local shop I know of...

Thanks very much in advance.

I second that. They just did a custom setup for me. Not exactly an inwall setup, but I have no doubt this project can be handled by them..Ask for Randy...

Do it yourself. It's a fun project and you will be happier with the outcome.

so cal makes custom tanks not set ups... figure out the size tank you want and shop around for the best price.... if its a large tank post in the Large tank forum and people there will be more than willing to help you. but if you want someone to do it all for you you may want to pm chuck moonpod he knows alot of people that can do that....

Thank you guys for the responses. I've got an email into Randy waiting for a response back; guess he'll respond that he does custom tanks and not entire setups. I'll give monopod an email right now.

It's funny that I wouldn't have any concerns about setting up the tank if it were on a stand. Being in-wall, I want someone's expertise to make sure it all goes together well and to do the plumbing. I'd still like to choose all the components of the system and put it all together.

Thanks all again,
Sanford

socal can do it all but they dont do instalation and such. they just make tanks and stands. like i said chuck knows a lot of people that can do the entire project for you, all you will have to do is write them a check and tell them where you want the tank....

SoCal Creations might do full set ups. I had contacted them a couple of months back about getting everything through them and they were willing to work with me. I bought their 225 g system and it's awesome. They did a nice job designing the system all the plumbing had unions in the right spot and it was basically plug and play. They even went the extra step to number all the plumbing to connect 1 to 1 and so forth. I think it took us like 3 hours to take it apart. Then I put it together in about an hour and half to two hours and was ready for water the same day. The hardest part for me was decided in what order i wanted to plug the equipment on the dj center. I haven't got the doors up yet, but here is how it looks in it's new home.

Yeah, put that 225g inside the wall and it would be about perfect. The pictures of the plumbing job from their site looks like it's all done very professionally.
