Need advice quickly...

Hello!

I need some advice on action that I might need to take regarding something I found this AM.

When the light came on this AM I found very small white "bugs" all over the glass. I think it might have been a ICH breakout, but not sure. I don't have a high quality camera that could take a picture of these things.

They are all over the glass by the hundreds, if not the thousands. They are completely white with what looks like a very small tail and little tentacles. They are crawling around the glass as well.

I just completed a 15% water change last night and have been doing a WC each week.

My tank was just resetup about 3 weeks ago after swapping out new stand and canopy. I changed out all of my sand as well.

Any ideal what this could possible be and what actions that I need to take to save my fish population. I have had ich on a few of the fish in the past, but currently they don't seen to have any major issues going on...at least not at this second.

Thanks in advance for your help!

I am ot sure of the exact name but it sounds as if they are little snails. But without a picture its hard to tell its just my opinion.

Do they look like this only smaller ?

I doubt it's ick but rather amphipods, which are good to have in a tank.

I did see my clown picking them off the glass and eating them. I would assume that a clown would not do that with a harmful parasite.

I don't think you have ich. I haven't heard of ich that likes glass, only fish. It is probably some sort of harmless insect. I have had them in my tank and they would accumulate in the corners.

After seeing some of the pics and some of your suggestions, I think they are a type of pod that just exploded.

You guys have no ideal how much better that makes me feel.

Thank You!

Here is a pic of the tank as of today.
