I have a pair of black & white percs. Noticed female at rear of tank this morning.
Great eater and alway in front of my tank. Male look's like he is protecting her.
When i fed them male came out to eat female didn't. Which is strange. She won't leave the rear of tank. Can she be sick? Or about to lay eggs? In the case that she is about to lay i am not prepared. I i'm thinking of putting her in a netted box would this be a good idea? Please help.

What size tank is that? How long have you had the B&W ocellaris for? I see another clown in the tank and by where its at i would guess the regular ocellaris was there 1st so its most likely attacking the newcomers. Unless its a very very large tank i would say take out the B&W because they will be attacked by the larger clown and most likely killed

The b&w where in there first and are much larger then normal percs. btw it's only a 24g gardiff. Should i setup a tank for the b&w with the least thinks possible maybe a couple
rocks.

Ok i put her in a netted box for about an hour with the male. I released them and she went right to were she has been hanging out.I checked to see if there are eggs put don't see any.

Its best to keep 2 clowns at max per tank. they tend to be pretty aggresive to others, they are damsels after all. Trios can happen but they usually dont. they look too young to be spawing from the pics, the female needs to be around 2 years old before it can start popping out eggs

You are likely asking for disaster by having two pairs of clownfish in a small 24 gallon tank. You should isolate one pair before they decide to play who's king of the tank.

I just setup another tank to removed them. This morning she was out swimming and eating.
as if everything is just fine. I will keep a close eye on her. That pair are my favorite.
