Need advise with jap. dragon eel

i am considering on getting a dragon eel but i have a 48"x30"x25" 150 gallon tank and neede to know if it would be big enough to house it will little problems. i am running a reef octopus 200 xtreme skimmer and refugium (36x16x16)

I personally wouldn't, I would say 180+. If I paid $800-$1000 for a fish, I would make sure it could stretch out. :worried:

That tank size if fine, I've kept a Japanese Dragon, with a Hawaiian dragon as adults in a 90 for years to adult size (same eel really) The problem is more due to adequate filtration with the smaller water volume and the tremendous waste the feedings produce. With 1 you will be ok.

i would like one with 1-2 aggressive fish and any other ideas on other eels i should look at let me know and thx for the advise and keep it coming.

if the water quality is maintained, it should be fine IMO.
