Just got this piece 2 days ago. Color is the same as it was at the store. Not much PE yet but its early on. Any ideas??

Perfect, thanks. Went to drs. foster & smith & checked a pic & I believe you may be correct, looks very close. The price I had to pay looks right also.

TTown, I searched further and found that the coralites of your coral is closer to a nasuta. Batunai has a completely different coralite. It appears LA mis-ID that specimen. Google "Staghorn corals of the world" by Carden Wallace.

It's freshly mounted to a small piece of liverock via some putty. This is how it was at the store. Next time I visit the store, I will ask the main guy what it is. During purchase the clerk that helped me was new & had no idea.
