Guys/Galz,

I was inspecting my 29g BC today and noticed a bunch of mouse turd looking objects on the sand. When i pick them up they dissolve in my hand like a turd one (disgusting I know) Could these be from brissle worms? I have searched the tank high and low and cant find anything out of the norm besides some aiptasia that im gonna nuke here soon. Anyone ever experience these? Thanks in advance!

I have 3 snails in there but i dont think they could poop that much can they?

Sounds like poo to me. I've never seen a bristleworm poo but it could be that or a crab or fish. What livestock do you have?
And make sure you are washing your hands.

bump.....anyone...these things keep multiplying. I cant imagine that a snails craps that much. Can anyone help explain?

It would help if you could give us a stocking list. Everything in your tank poo's, so without knowing what you have, we can't help.

For instance, my tomini tang goes potty in one spot everyday so that area has large turds. My other fish go whereever they are so you never notice it. Do you have any fish that frequent the area in question?

It really might be snail poop. I have 1 turbo, 5 small nassarius and 5 nerites and I have stuff on my sand that matches your description exactly.

i gave the stocking list. Its 3 snails. thats all that i have in there. But there is an enormous amount of it...i was like ***
