Need bulb help

I'm not happy with the EVC 14k, just a little to blue.

I want to stick with a ellectronic ballast but I don't think I like the look of 10k bulbs with VHO the colors don't seem to stand out enough like they do with a 14k or 20k bulb.

Now I don't really like the XM 20k either, but was looking for a bulb that has good par and really makes the corals colors stand out.

This will be on a mostly SPS tank.

After looking through the charts the Radium and Hamilton higher K bulbs seem to have par around that of a EVC bulb.

This is for 250w bulbs.

aquaconnect 14 is what i use, really like them, i took my actinic off and now have one 11k t5 as supplemental and it is great. but they are hard to find, and a bit expensive.

what type of base, de or se?

you might check out the SPS 10k bulb. it has great par, and with a cct of 18k on an icecap it should be blue enough to not warrant actinic supplementation. i haven't seen or used the bulbs, only noticed the numbers.
