Need fish ideas for 20 gallon FOwLR

I just set up a 20 gallon long tank, (30" across but only 12" tall").

I have a orange skunk clown fish in there and he's awesome.

I'm trying to decide what to stock my tank with. It will be fish only with live rock.

I realize with only 20 gallons, I'm limited to fish that never get much larger than 3" or so.

But I am not excited about "nano" fish. Gobies and stuff just bore me.

Do you guys know of any exciting fish that are small enough at adult stage to keep in a 20 gallon?

I'd also like to get a cinnamon clown, but I don't know if it and the existing skunk clown would fight.

Thanks
Josh

Lions do look very cool. But I won't own any pets that can be dangerous to my health. I handle my fish by hand since I believe nets can be dangerous to their scales/fins. I just don't have the balls to be picking up a lionfish.

Also I had an eel once and it bit me bad once.

So I'm kind of against aggressive/poisonous specimens these days.

I was thinking maybe in addition to my clown also having:
- Hellfrichi Firefish
- Six-line wrasse

and maybe a few other tiny fishes.

Unfortunately I probably shouldn't house any specimen known for jumping as I have an open tank of only 12" tall. I do plan to lay eggcrate over the top though.

Any other ideas for small but beautiful fish?

Thanks
Josh

You need to be careful about mixing the clowns, what most people try to do is put them in at the same time. They can be real territitorial.

For your size tank, you might want to check out the fuzzy dwarf lion. They stay small and are a pleasure to watch.

I personally like my 3 blue-green chromis. They are great open-water swimmers with a lot of personality (and they're cheap :) ). Because they swim around so much, the tend to force fish who like to hide out into the open more so you can actually see them.

Thanks for the ideas guys.

I was looking at dottybacks and they seem like good nano fish also, and you can get them in all sorts of colors.
