it seems that across the entire front of my cad 50 i have diatoms always present. so im looking to add more flow into my tank. i dont currently have anything other then my return pump which i have dialed back to keep the overflow silent.
what im looking for is things that i can mount on the back that can push water all the way across the front. im not against putting something on the side but was thinking if i did it would be a mp 40 for a wave maker.
i like the idea of the vortecs due to no cords in the tank but im not sure if 2 mp 10's one on each side on the back would be enough or powerful enough. but at the same time i think 2 mp 40's are just overkill.
any other suggestions?
