Need HELP ASAP!

I have a 250G SPS tank thats 2 1/2-3 years old for the most part sucsessfull with lots of growth and PE ect. I recentle added a new small wrasse which triggered my Hippo tank to break out with a minor case of ick. When I first got him he broke out with it (minor) and I used Ruby Reef Kick Ich with remarkable sucess. So at the first sign of white spots I employed the same Kick ich strategy. During the use of this product you cut off GFO and skimmer (13 days total) and with my low nutrient content that is IMO exceptable. Well during this I had some cloudy water when the 4 400w Radiums would come on (bacterial bloom). Now that the water has "suddenly" become clear after 10-13 days I am seeing RTN from the tips (similiar to a sudden increase in ALK which is only 8dkh) affecting at first in 1 day 1/2 of a HUGE blue stag colony which is the tallest (closest to the lights) and now 2nd day starting to affect another LG colony of the same lineage which is much lower in the tank. Although other pieces have started bleaching Monti's,efflo's. Just now this morning I filled a small reactor with carbon that is now running and cut the MH's off running just the T-5's. I need help/ideas on how to deal with this so as to regain the stability of my tank while minimizing any more coral loss. PLEASE POST IDEAS! there will be a 3 hour period when I wont be on here but i'll be glued to this thread all other times. Thankyou all in advance.

I'll be performing and posting a FULL range of test results asap but I believe it's light shock like when you change really worn bulbs for new ones. O ya skimmer was turned back on yesterday upon discovery.

IMO sounds like the kick ich you added some how irritated your sps corals, then turning off the skimmer not running carbon and GFO for 13 days just possibly added to the cause by not exporting the kick ich you added, as your aware, any additives to treat ich or even sps afew/ red bug treatment additives/dips arent healthy to any sps corals and cause stress even on 1 single short dip, so im sure leaving a fish killing ich product in an sps dominated tank without exporting the product for 13 days had an effect. i would go back to running everything you did before you added the product and hope the damage isnt too far progressed for recovery.

Another victim of poor husbandry. Quarantine tanks save money, time, frustration, fish, coral, and you.

Just because it says reef safe doesnt it mean add it.

If its a product that has a targeted chemical to kill Cryptocaryon irritans, It will kill many many many other things in your tank.

Series of 10-20% water changes, along with carbon. Dont go to crazy, the more you change about your water chemistry, the more stress you will induce on your corals.
