Need help deciding on a 75g

Hmmm.... I will get him to email me a list of everything and brand names. I have seen system for less but, they were empty. I have really been struggling with this decision. I really like the look of planted tanks so, maybe I should just start from scratch.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention, he ordered most of his stuff from DRs fosterSmith catalogs. His wife gave me one to look at and The Reef Manual book. The reason he has 2 tanks is the other one got a leak so, he bought a new one then he just got frustrated and lost interest.
My husband just informed me he used to make aquariums when he was younger. They made them from plexi. He has a lot of his own hobbies so, I don't know how quickly he would work on mine. He just finished repairing fiberglass on a boat he bought and will be out in the deep blue sea next weekend I'm sure. Wife's project or go fishing....hmmm....which would he choose;)

Taking the plunge!

Taking the plunge!

Okay, I'm gonna go for it! I'm scared to death I'm going to kill everything in it:eek: but, I'm gonna go for it. This guy seems very nice and honest. I figure the worse case scenerio is everything will die :sad1: and I will have to start over but, I will have all the needed equipment. I am going to look into new sand. Either way, I will try my best to keep everyone healthy and happy!

congrats, you won't regret this hobby, your wallet will though . just remember to take your time and ask any questions you have. there is no such thing as a stupid question. :D

Thanks for saying that because I do feel stupid asking some of these ?'s.:hmm4: I am now trying to find some quality black sand. Tomorrow I am going to start preparing water. My husband has a boating addiction:lol: and now me with this:eek2: my wallet is whimpering already!
I do have another question. I think I know the answer but I want to make sure. Can you add a few plants in a LR set-up? I love rocks and plants.
