Need Help Finding a lense

I have a pentax K20D DSLR and I am wanting to try my hand at macro photography, I would like to photograph my corals. I am wondering if there is a good lens that I can use with my camera without spending $500+, I do not mind buying used but I would like to know what lense I should be searching for. I Please let me know if you have any recommendations, Thanks.

Get extension tubes for your camera - they let you do macro shots using your regular lens. However, the drawback is that you can not longer focus out to infinity (i.e. you have to be within a certain distance to focus).

And your depth of field is going to be very shallow.

I have a Tamron 90mm macro and love it. I use it for all kinds of things, I have some pictures on here I took with it. B&H photography sells them for a good deal normally.
