Roger,

I took my two 6000's apart to soak in vinegar today and the bottom of one of the rotors stayed in the stream. It seems to be frozen in there probably from calcium deposits. I'm going to soak the stream overnight and try to dislodge the piece in the morning. Any suggestions on getting it out? Does it just snap back on the bottom or what? Here's a picture of what I'm talking about. The one on the left is missing the piece at the bottom.

I have the same problem on worse. The magnet is stuck in the sream and the propeller broke off on a 6100. After getting the magnet out where can I purchase the new propeller and mag assembly for the 6100?

I got it out easily using the 5mm screw that comes with the mounting kit. After I posted this I read Roger's thread at the top of this forum. He mentions how to get that part out there. Washingond I had to replace the propellers once myself when I used muriatic acid to clean the magnet. Don't ever do that because the plastic used on these will break apart. I found out the hard way. Roger has all the replacement parts for these and Premium Aquatics sells some.
