need help ghl profilux plus 2

picked this up used from this forum and i can't get anything to work first thing i need to get to work is connecting to pc i get error codes 41 i am using usb to serial cable please help

i have version 5.17 on the profilux 2 and 5.1.7.1 on my pc and i downloaded the usb driver are these compatible or do i need another pc version ?

I would think they are mate as they are the only ones in there, hopefully Michael will pop along as he's very knowledgable and would be able to help you better.

they only have 2 usb drivers that i see but i think you need to have a compatible software not the computer and profilux

it does start to connect it brings up the serial number and version says it connected then the error 41 comes up

Wow, I must be really outdated because I just checked my profiluxcontrol and I'm on 5.0.0.6.

kga943 - I'm on a profilux 2 as well and it's a solid controller. I hope you're able to resolve your issue on the GHL forum.
