Need help identifying a Seahorse...

Rock Anemone

S.C.U.B.A. :)
Last month at my work we had recieved a few dozen tank-raised Sea horses. A majority are black, however some have distinctive white bands/markings on them. I'd like to see if anyone can help properly identify these (the ones with the white markings). I did manage to get a hold of one after a month, all have been eating very very well, and have him in a nano-like set-up which has been up for several months. I'll try and snap a picture this weekend, so far he's been very interactive and has been eating a bunch (mysis).

Any help would greatly be appreciated!

get a picture of a side shot of thier head, and a side shot of the body.

BUT if you don't know what they are, they are most likely wild caught, and need to be treated for parasites, and not to be mixed EVER with captive bred horses, without there being some issues involved. come now... you should know that ;)

check out the import/buying sheets on them, and see where they came from.

Alright, after a bit more research and calls, looks like she was a Hippocampus Erectus. She was eating well for enrly 3 weeks, very active and full, however this morning when the lights went on I was shocked to see her body caught in some macros (cheato). Not sure what could have happened, it took me awhile to get her body out so not sure if she struggled into it and died, or died and was drifted into it. This is very unfortunate, she was eating and doing well just last night before lights out.

The tank looks fine, snails/inverts/corals are all doing great. Huge bummer, going to work on the tank a bit more and possibly try again after I target what caused her to die. :(

Any ideas, please post!
