Hello, new here but i've had my reef tank for quite a while. About 8 months ago we bought a couple clown fish and what we where told was a Bubble tip Anemone. However it is fairly small (2-3") and once it reaches a slightly larger size (3" or so) it splits. People who have come to see the tank don't think it is a BTA. So far it has split 4 times since we have had it. The "mother" always stays fairly large, the babies when it splits are about 1" or so. Our clown fish completely ignore them and no one seems to know what they are exactly. They do not move around the tank at all once they find a location they like unless something harasses them and then they only move an inch or 2. I feed them small pieces of shrimp and they grab them right away without issues.
