Need help identifying what brand/tank to get. Here are my specs:

I visited a guy selling a 150g on craigslist yesterday, but it was simply too big. More exact, it was too deep and too long. I think the length was 6' and the depth was 30"

Here are some of the specs I'm looking for:

1. built in overflow(s)
2. not deeper than 24"
3. somewhere between 18"-24" wide
4. somewhere around 4' long

I think those dimensions put me at a maximum in the 120gallon category. I feel this size allows me to stick my whole arm down in there and is overall the maximum size I'd like to manage.

If they were out there, I would entertain something more cube like either 3'x3'x2' or 3'x2'x2'.

Can anyone recommend some direction?

A 120 is a great sized tank and would be my choice. A 90 would be 18' deep, front to back. JMO but I would stay away from cubes. I have one and I don't like it. Too hard to get the flow right and the viewing angles aren't good IMO.

Can you recommend a particular 120 or a place that has them in stock to check them out in person?

Better yet.... anyone have a used one they are selling?

The first place I would think of would be the critter. If you look around on here you might be able to find one close used.

I think there is a 115 that is close to your dimensions. Look at perfecto's and Allglass websites, then as fishdoc mentioned go talk to Chris at the critter.

i have a nice 55 gal hexagon fs on cl. it is 24"x24"x36"high. Nice tank great price. Also, call Anell he has many tanks fs with great prices! PM me for his contact info if interested.

I would suggest a DSA 105, it is 48x24x21 (comes rimmed or rimless) AC can order them, they just sold a rimless one for $560, 1/2" glass, quality build...
