Need Help In Portland!

ok, so i have tried my darndest to find a club in portland, OR, and i cant. i am moving there in a couple months from cincinnati, here's the problem: i am driving across the country, and i am not leaving my tank behind, i need to send all of my stuff to someone to hold for me until i get out there. i am coming out in july, and would like to hook up with someone, i want to buy a tank and some kind of cheap light that will hold my stuff over for a week....anyone out there who could help? thanks!

there should be a thread for your club on RC, theres nothing in the clubs forum. thanks though. BTW anyone reading this, i only have a 10g tank so its not like i need anyone to babysit 100 lbs of LR, just two fish, about 30 lbs LR, and some various corals.

There are other reef related sites out there... and its not like you just say hey RC I want my own place on your site. our club choose to have their own site with their own rules, and also to stay away from the sometimes hostile environ of RC. I have pointed you in the direction you need to go, all you have to do is go there. I garauntee somebody would be happy to help but you have to go where they are concentrated...

yeah i went and registered, all i was saying is that if you were listed it would be easier to find, not trying to ruffle your feathers man, i appreciate you pointing me in the right direction. i owe you a beer when i get out there :beer:

no feathers ruffled, although rereading it it does kind of look that way... anyway, its a good group of guys out here, and lots of them. we are also blessed with 2 amazing LFS and a couple up and coming spots as well.

i figured there must be a great reefing community being that portland is close to the coast, and there is a lot of environmental awareness out there as well. i cant wait to get out there, i am planning on going to a 90g when i get out there, maybe even a 125. good to hear there are some good LFS out there, sometimes thats a crap-shoot.
