Need help lighting my fuge and QT

Bent

I got nothin'
I posted this same exact question over in the equipment section, but I didn't get any responses.

I'm trying to light my fuge and QT with the old fixtures I have so I don't have to waste cash buying new ones. Here's what I have:

1 36" outer orbit power compact = 96w
1 28"x4 outer orbit PC = 250w
1 36"x2 straight pin PC = 128w

Right now I am using the single 36" bulb and the quad 28" bulb fixtures. That's 346w over top of two tanks. See pics:

If I hang yet the third fixture over these I'll be at 474w with all PC.

Will this work or should I do something else? Will the two fixtures be enough or should I add the third as well?

Again I'm sorry for posting this question twice, I just thought maybe I would get some answers in this section.

Your fuge doesn't need this much light, and your quarantine definitely doesn't. I would just use the 36" 128watt. You will need to find 6500k bulbs for that fixture though because thats what macro thrives under.

The quarantine doesn't really matter it would be fine just to have some light bleed from the fuge. You want to keep the quarantine dim because its a more relaxing environment for the fish.

Thanks!

I may have to rethink this then. The lowest K bulb I can find to fit that is 6700k. I don't think that will work will it?
