need help on half cylinder

So, where to begin... My father has a job as a private chef, for a local couple. They have recently been talking about getting an aquarium in there new house, scheduled to be finished by november. So, off course, my dad volunteers me. All I know so far, is that they want a half cylinder aquarium, want a ******* aquariums fauxstone stand + canopy, and have roughly $10,000 to spend on it. So, basically, for those more advanced aquarists out there, what would you do?
(p.s. I think a variety of lps sps, and soft coral would look nice, and the aquariums volume can be anywhere from 100-250 gallons... as long as it's under $10,000)

My first question is..."who is going to look after/maintain the aquarium after it is created?".

Answer that one, and it will help you decide what should go in it. In fact, whomever is going to do that maintenance is really the only one who should have a say in what goes in it.

I'm going to be in charge of maintaining it. The house is located within about 100 feet of the gulf of mexico. Every day I am brought to the house, while my dad preps for dinner. During this time, I usually snorkel, however I'd love to maintain this aquarium for a few hours each day.

Wow, this sounds great! I'd love to be in your shoes! Designing an aquarium for someone else with a budget of $10,000. That'd be fun.

Oceanic makes a 144g, I have about 8000$ in my setup
