Need help on midas blenny agression toward clowns

I have a 80 gallon w/ sump. I bought a Midas Blenny and a pair of Picasso clowns and added them together, first fish in the tank. Everything has been fine for the past week but yesterday i noted some torn fins on the clown. The female clown has her back dorsal fin torn and a tiny bit of torn tail. The small male has a tear in his dback dorsal too now.

I've only seen the attack once and it was unprovoked at no specific time. The blenny just dove and bit. They actually sleep int he same corner at night. The blenny is weird and won't go in the rocks (100 #'s, lots of caves), he sleeps on the powerheads and mostly swims at the surface. The clowns are just starting to host a hammer coral near the bottom.

I see three options.

1. Do nothing. Will the Blenny kill the clowns or are they just sorting dominance out?

2. Put the blenny in the sump and then reintroduce once the clwons are more settled.

3. Get rid of the blenny.

I'm still pretty new at this so any advice is very welcome. I'd hate to lose my clowns, they are nice fish, not to mention expensive! Are blennies hard to catch?

Odd with all that space there would be that much aggression. MB's can be nippy sometimes but clowns can usually hold their own. MB's do tend to swim a bit more than a lot of blennies so not really surprised. I would think if they continue to rest in the same corner at night they will eventually sort things out. The blenny shouldn't be too hard to catch if you feel you need to remove it but it sounds like you have a lot of LR.

I blocked of his perch on the clown side to keep them apart hopefully. The blenny won't sit anywhere now. he's been swimming for 3 hours. I have to assume he'll sit before he swims to death. If he doesn't I'll try to feel bad.

how old are your clowns?

Not sure, still pretty young judging by size. Not terribly smaller than the blenny, they just don't fight back. they don't even fight eachother like my other pair.
