Need help on Return flow tube

When I installed a chiller for my 55 gal. uniquarium, I noticed the the flex tube kinks before the bulk head. Should I use a U-Tube or put an elbow (male-to-male connection)? I'm afraid, it might restrict the return flow without knowing it.

Or just replace the tubing. Soak the tubing in very HOT tap water FIRST. Let cool, then install. Should be OK then. Lowe's has good vinyl tubing. Thats what I use on my chiller setup for my 90.

Is there a specific brand that I need to buy?

Even the best tubing will collapse in the situation like you show in your picture.
You could buy pre made u-tubes but if it were me I'd just do it with PVC elbows and a couple barb fittings.

Do you know where I can get this elbow. I've been doing some research with no luck.

Just use two PVC 90's and cut the smallest piece of pipe and glue it together. One 90 will be on the outside and the other on the inside. Depending and what type of barb fitting you get (slip or pipe thread) will determine your need on the elbows (slip or FPT).

Take a piece of your tubing to lowes or hd. Look at the pvc electrical conduit, it is grey. They use sweeps, long smooth bends for elbows. Try to find a size that is a snug fit for the hose. Use 2 to make a U. If the fit is tight, just heat the ends of the tubing in hot water, slip it over the U tube and clamp with screw type hose clamps.
