need help picking up dropping off tank sept 30

Well my 375 is coming just a wee bit lot earier than I thought it was going too. Glass cages is delivering the tank/stand/canopy on the 30th, this sunday and I can use some help picking it up, and dropping it off. They are suppose to deliver somewhere in orlando, they haven't told me yet, and I live in east orlando near waterford lakes. They haven't given me a specific time yet so more information would follow. I would really appreciate any help you are able to lend. Also does anyone know of any rental truck company in the area with good rates?

I would be willing to help. I really want to see 1 of there tanks cause im thinking about ordering 1 soon. Let me know what time so I can see if I can do it. Uhaul is aways the cheapest.

Yeah uhaul. I used one to move a tank this past weekend.

14 ft truck is 29.99 and .89 a mile.

It gets about 4.5-6 miles to the gallon. You have to refill, so make sure to remember that.

depending on time and location I may be able to help, drop me a PM when you find out. Depending on the location of the drop off you may want to consider lowes or home depot for truck rental. They charge by the hour but IIRC their mileage rates are lower, and if there is one close it may work out better than uhaul, either way be sure to book in advance a lot of uhaul places seem to be out of trucks whenever I need one.

Wow thats quite a little drive. Did you tell them thats not Orlando. Its about 20 miles away from Orlando. lol Im down I can help with the pickup. Where is your house again?

Lol thats exactly what I said, closer to Disney than orlando. I'm located at 8654 San Toccoa Dr, Orlando, Fl 32825 near waterford lakes, its actually off of lakeunderhill between econ and chickasaw if you are familiar with the area. I imagine we will leave my house around 8am to make it to Davenport on time.

OK TIME CHANGE, freakin glasscages , it actually works out better I think The pickup time will be noon now instead of 9, so I will leave at 11 instead of 8.

Man time change sucks for me. lol I can still help with the pickup but I wont be able to help with the deliver end.

I cant wait to see the tank. Im thinking about ordering a 240 or 300 gal from them.

If that sucker is glass, I'd suggest around 8 people with strong backs. My tank's 1/2" glass with 3/4" bottom estimated at about 1,000 lbs. Bring gloves too incase there's any sharp edges.

yeah I'm looking at getting 8-10 people, I worry about using the dolly with the tank, plus its not moving far, their truck to my rental then my rental to the garage.
