In the last 2 days both of my Kenya Trees have started dying off very quickly. The "branches" are turning a slimy brown and withering and the remaining portions aren't opening. I moved both of them to quarantine and fragged off the healthy looking portions and have them rubberbanded to a couple of pieces of rubble in the quarantine tank.

Any ideas on what this is or how to treat it? Should I be worried about my other corals?

Whats your water parimeters? Thats what will be needed to eliminate possible problems. I dont have any Kenya but my Xania started to wither awhile back because I got my salinity messed up during a water change. Never do a water change while stressed out.. I forgot to add salt.. Anyways as soon as I corrected the problem it all recovered nicely.

Yep it was, very low in fact 7.59 ouch! I ended up losing the kenya and xenia but rescued everything else by moving it into quarantine while I got the water parameters back in check.

I have an abundance of Kenya, but I am down around Jasper, If you can't get someone locally to give you some let me know and I will see about mailing you some.

Nitroq2 and Tomoko thank you for the offers that is very kind of you!! Tomoko I'm in Madison as well, next time you weed some out let me know I will gladly pay you something for it!

Hi Stepfish,

They are free for a good home. If you have some time today or tomorrow, just PM me when you want to come over. Otherwise we can get together next weekend or something.

Tomoko
