My husband recently got a used 120 gallon tank that he wants to start back his saltwater again. Unfortunatley this is our first drilled tank. He has epilepsy and Parkinson's and cannot plumb the tank. We have the supplies to plumb it...I need someone if can to come to my house to plumb the tank. I can clean the tank etc I just need help plumbing the tank....hubby can't do it and I am clueless on it unless its to cleaning the tank and feeding the fish. We are located in Streator, IL.

Looks like Chicago isn't too far away. A local service company there would be your best bet. Check with local reef clubs as well. Could be someone there who wants some cash to feed his/her hobby.

I have zero experience plumbing. It's really easy to learn yourself. I used YouTube videos to learn. Search for aquarium plumbing, plumbing with pvc, and things like that. Pvc is cheap enough that you can buy a couple of fittings and and some pipe for a few dollars and just practice. I also found it helped to draw out my setup. I drew my tank and my stand then added a simple plumbing diagram. The drawing helped me know what fittings I needed to buy. A simple plumbing setup is flexible drain hose for your overflow and a single return line with a union ball valve from your return pump to your aquarium.
