It is hard to tell exactly what parts you have. The overflow goes on the back of the tank and needs a line running down to the skimmer comparment. Depending on the size of your return pump, you may not need both drains in the skimmer. You can cut a piece of pvc that will fit in the bulkhead and extend just above the surface of the overflow to act as a safety drain. I usually use vinyl hose from lowes for the drains. One of the pumps, hopefully a needlewheel powers the skimmer. It basically just recirculates in its compartment. Your other pump is the return pump. It needs to be plumbed up to the tank to provide circulation. You need to let us know what size tank, sump and the exact parts you have. Hope this helps.
