I'm hooked
here we go
i got a pair of spotbreast angelfish and a hippo in qt
they started off with TT, then i noticed stringy poop and prazi was not really doing anything, so i did prazi at 300% (3 days then 50%wc x3) worked perfectly
now they have been in qt without copper since oct 12, i was going to transfer them to my DT yesterday and SUDDENLY out of no where my hippo has cloudy eyes (both sides) and a velvet looking slime coat on some sections of the body, almost a the same size of his black markings
i immediately did a FW dip yesterday, i did not really see tons of white spots, if i look closely i could find little white dots in the water, now i do not know what to look for yet so i can not confirm flukes, also prazi at 300% should of knocked it right off
can this be velvet? angels are not affected at all it seems, timeline does not make sense
or can it be a fungal infection?
i am at a loss, and do not know what to do
hippo is skittish right now (i did catch him for the first time near the top of the tank) the tank is HEAVILY aerated
thanks!
