Hi guys..

I have a two year old apex system running a large display tank. I have most of the modules connected that Neptune makes, and it has all been running well over the past 6 months after my software was updated.

I have the system hard wired into a wifi extender and i have just been connecting my laptop to the address shown on the Apex control display.

it was running well. However, today i went to try and adjust my lighting schedule and noticed i can't connect to the system. I am able to see other web pages and when i run the little diagnostics window that comes up, it says my device is not responding..

i have tried rebooting the ape by disconnecting the little usb connection.. no help.

it won't connect to fusion either, and now when i try and sign in, the only thing that comes up is a Neptune advertisement.

any thoughts?

Thanks in advance!

First thing I would try is to connect the Apex direct to the router via a network cable. More often than not, these issues are the result of the wireless bridge and not the Apex. Connecting via a hardwire connection to the router would eliminate that variable and give you a better idea of what you need to be trouble shooting which if I had to guess is your WiFi bridge.

What you could try is the following. Power cycle your DSL router. Disconnect the Apex's LAN connection from the wireless bridge. Power cycle the wireless bridge. Remove the power from the Apex. Reconnect the Apex to the bridge and power it back up.

Thanks Slief..

I powered everything down and then up. still no go. I think you are probably correct, t's must be the wireless bridge.
What is the recommendation these days for bridges?

Thanks!

Michael
