need help saving toadstool leather

A friend gave me a good size leather that has closed up on him for about 3 weeks. It was under 250w mh lights in a low flow part of his tank. He had a heater fail and the tank got cold - 73*. I put it in my bc29 with cf lighting where a koralia nano ph is blowing just above it. It has been in my tank for about 2 weeks now and it hasnt gotten any better. It is slumped over and is turning white. I have it propped up so it can receive light and have flow across it. Is there anything I can do to help save this? Is is to far gone? Would a coral rx dip help?
My tank specs:
temp 79-80*, 1.026sg, <10 trates, cal 450, 1400 mag, 13 alk. 7 gal water change every week w/rodi and rc salt.

Sry, camera is broken. I have it propped up since it will slump over. Right now it is opened up but no polyps are sticking out and the tips/edges are white in some spots. Some areas look like polyps want to come out, but haven't. I guess time will tell. I was just hoping someone with experience with this coral could give me some tips.

toadstool leathers dont like alot of light or at least mine doesnt i positined him twoard the top of the tank and he didnt want to open til finally i said let me put him at the bottom in an area that is sorta a deadzone. the next day i came back and he was open and happy. try to move him to the bottom.

It was originally under 250w mh and just moved to pc lights. Everyday it looks better and better. Yesterday the polyps looked like goose bumps, today they are coming out a little more. I think the cold temp shock from the old tank really upset it, and now its under stable conditions it will bounce back (hopefully). Ill post back in a few days.
