Need help selecting reef-safe fish

Not to hijack (though I am about to try LOL)

The list above awesome though I went with a 150 myself so what on it would have to be removed for that tank (60x24x24)? Obviously no trigger but what about the rest of the stock?

Have many had any success with blue spot puffers in a reef tank or know what corals they would go after if I were to add one? Stock from current tank to make the move would be my 2 black ice clowns, cleaner shrimp if I can catch him else he stays in current tank, and tail spot blenny though he too could stay in current if needed.

I too want a ton of color and movement but I also wish my priced acans to survive.

If you're already removing the blue jaw trigger then the list should be good. If u want the blue jaw I would say remove one of the larger fish.

Well, some unfortunate news. My landlord will not allow me to get a tank any larger than my current 45 gallon tank. But on the up side of things we are looking at a duplex home that is a 1 level with a finished basement so the 180 isn't completely ruled out yet! Just postponed. Can't wait to get started on this new build!! :)

Not surprised. My DH, put a large jack and some extra supports under my 140 display tank. In the crawl space of course. Good luck on the move and tank build.

What is really bothering me though is the CBB. I had heard they were shy and peaceful. Hard to get eating. He is a total pig for live black worms. And very bold. He has chased my fire fish so often it refuses to come out of the rock work. It may be in need of a new home. I like my tanks calming. Period. :love2:

My firefish has been doing the same thing now that I have a few larger additions to my tank, think I'm gonna move him to my nano tank. I love copperbands but was told the same thing so never aquired one. In one sense that's awesome that you got one that has no problem eating, but I hear ya when u say u like calm peaceful tanks! Good luck! :)

Well it has been two months since the fire fish was added. I added a pyramid butterfly and 3 bangaii cardinals, and a royal grammar. At mostly different times. And after each was quarantined. I moved the rock work a little also. And made sure the fire fish was eating. Spot Fed the first month or so. Slowly things turned around. My CBB, is ignoring the fire fish more and more. And the fire fish comes out longer all the time. The pyramid never bothers any of the other fish. Things are good now.
