Need help setting up my friends lights

Hi, my friend has three Radion XR30W (got that from the side of the ballast) lights over a 180 gal system, he is older has no internet, if i connect the lights to an old router making a local network can I control the lights? Or is there a better way? What settings would work best for SPS?

You can setup a program for him, but you would need to create a account with a valid email address, and password, and it should work fine if you did everything right. But if you made any mistake there would be no way for him to correct anything.
If the fixtures needed adjustments or anything he would screwed.
IMO your friend really needs internet.

Thanks that's a good start. If I am understanding correctly we will have to bring it to my house, set it up as if it was going on my system, then take it back to his and set it up there. Wow!

I just did something similar.
But my friend does have internet access.

If something goes wrong in the setup your friend would have no way to change it. No way to stop a wrong setting.
