This photo was not photoshopped. This was taken with my iPhone. I have people to vouch this is the way it appears. I thought the same as the valida, but it has other colors outside of that coral. By chance is this an avenger acropora?

This was not edited not photoshopped. It's direct from an iPhone 4 camera. What good would photoshopping this image so for me? All I'm looking for is the type of acro this is.

Unreal. People these days ...

Only fathom of a chance that piece even sniffs RR Avengers is if you continue to photoshop it further.

Comical

Here's to prove that site is junk. I just took that pic direct from my phone using that site and it says it was photoshopped. Before accusing me of photoshopping a picture, try to snap a picture and upload it directly. It says the saturation was adjusted? Really? I guess my phone does it on its own then.

Here was my reply when this was posted somewhere else.

"I am 98% sure it is Acropora nana. Dispite all the comments about the color, using the color for identification is a poor method. This coral could be a negative photo and completely saturated with unicorns pasted in background you should still be able to guess the species ID. The way to ID is in the structure, not color.

You could call it Avengers Acro, but that would be a lie. IMO named corals have lineage to them. Falsifying a show name on a unknown coral can be misleading and you (or people that get a frag from you) could end up taking care of it wrong. The most proper name as of the moment would be " Duddits Acropora cf. nana".

My 2 cents. "

So if you are looking for a true ID it really wouldn't matter if it is saturated or not, at least it is not blurry. There is no chance it is an RRs Avenger Acro. I wouldn't go calling it Reef Raft's Avenger Acro or you will be bashed even more over lieing about the name of a known Acro.

Thank you for clarifying. I'm not trying to say its a RR Avenger. It's the closest I've come to the colors of this coral. Anyhow, I love the colors and structure of this coral. Thanks again for the info.
