Need help trying to guestimate tank dimensions

I have a person who is wanting to sell my friend a 60 gallon O'Dell tank.

The problem is that he isn't sure what the dimensions are and won't be able to get them for a few days.

He does say that it is the same a the standard 55 gallon tank, just that it is a 60 gallon tank. Does that help identify what the dimensions are?

I have seen it and I do know its retangular. I didn't think it was 4 feet across so I don't think it is the 48x12x18 version.

What do you think, any guesses?

thanks for that info!

Hmm, looks like if I'm using the right one, it is 48x12x24. That width is really narrow. He would like to have a lionfish and a snowflake eel. Would that small width cause problems? I'm not worried about the length as it seems long enough for those two species. Just the width.....

What do you think?

Might be a little cramped as both species grow large.
They are both predators as well, which will limit the other tank mates that could be added.
Might want to reconsider livestock choices.

Those are the only two fish he really wants, so we aren't really worried about other fish stocking options.

I just hope to find him a tank that is small enough that he can get his wife's permission but big enough to fit those two fish.
