I really don't like this camera and I will be buying a D200 as soon as I get my hands on one, but that is besides the point. I want to get some really good pics and i was wondering if any of you had any specific tips on using this camera for aquarium photography. All help is welcome. TIA!

just send it to me and get the D200!

In all honesty I have a new D50 and am here looking for tank tips myself. It seems a lot of the guys use RAW and adjust the WB in PS because it is so hard to set. If you look through the forum, there is a pretty good thread on metering WB through a coffee filter or layers of them to get accurate auto WB setting.

There's some lessons here that might help you out:

The D100 got me pretty decent results:

if you cant get good pictures with the D100 upgrading to the D200 isnt going to do you any good. while it has some more features to it, long story short is that it is a DSLR body and thats it. You can get incredible pictures with pretty much any DSLR body as long as your other variables are in check.

What you need to look at is your lens set-up, support, and exposure.
