Need help wiring canopy fan

Just got 2 Vantec fans that I want to install in my canopy. I also bought a 12V power converter. The question is how to wire it together. The fan has 3 wires - a yellow, red and black. The converter has 2 wires. Which goes where. Sorry for the ignorance. Just trying to avoid electrocution or fire!

yellow = open.(you can tape the end.)
Which model did you get? The one with the built in Thermo control?
