need help with biowheel filter

I was trying to decide what type of filter I should go with. My 10 gallon nano needs a filter. Should I go with a th AC 30. I heard it breathes nitrates. Or a biowheel. If the biowheel . What size should I get

Stay away from bio-wheels! They will raise the nitrates crazy-high I have set up a 24 gal nano and took my canister filter from my old 55gal run that for 10-12hrs per day and the regular filter with phos-zorb and the water has never been clearer Also the Lawnmower Blenny "Chomps" keeps the algea under control

I would strongly recommend going with an AC500 modified into a refugium, think it took my about 20 minutes to make. very simple and easy.
