I have a Nano Reef and I recently got these inverts. Has anyone had any problem with these inverts? What can I do to prevent any Problems? Do I have to fish them out and get rid of them?

I'd remove the bumble bee snails. While they will aerate your sandbed, they are also consuming benficial worms. In a smaller tank, they will deplete the food supply faster than it can reproduce and then starve without supplemental feedings. I've never kept camel shrimp but everything I have read states they are not reef safe.

If you only have one Engina mendicaria, it may not eat enough to be a problem, or it might. They usually feed on tiny worms, but maybe other tiny animals, typically those that don't live in the sand bed. They are predatory in any case, and don't spend any time in the sand bed to help aerate the sand bed, so their addition is purely aesthetic.

Cheers,

Don

I have a single bumblebee in my 14G cube and its fine, and there is still tons of microlife, worms, etc blowing up. I wouldn't suggest more then one, and give your worms a real chance to spread first if possible.

I have a bbs, and have only seen him once in the past two weeks since putting him in the tank. Is that normal, or is it likely dead? Others incl 2 peps, 1 skunk cleaner, 1 tiger pistol, 2 mithrax, 1 porcelain crab. Any predators there? All fish are reef safe.

Thanks for the info guys. The BBS are doing fine. They haven't done any harm that I can see. It may be because they are a late addition to my established tank. I am really considering removing the camel shrimp though. I am keeping a close eye on him as well.
