need help with controller

Hey guys, I've got two used 6100s but only 1 7091 controller, Can I buy the branch adapter or y adapter and control both pumps with one controller?

Yes that will work, keep in mind both pumps will just follow the same program. While they won't alternate between each other they both will ramp at the same time and same speeds
