Need help with fish ID

Hey guys,

Normally I would lurk in the shadows and using the search button. But today I am absolutely stumped. I recently purchased this little guy from an LFS.

I have absolutely no clue what fish this is. but he looks to be a nice addition to my reef tank. Can you guys please help me ID this fish?

All I know about it right now is that it does not look to be poisonous (so probably not a scorpionfish) and it eats larger amphipods (and frozen mysis)

will it have problems with my mandarin? so far I have no seen mandarins going after the larger and faster amphipods so I was hoping this little guy could help me keep their population balance in check.

If anyone also have this fish please let me know if it can be weened onto prepared food!

Agreed, it's a waspfish, maybe pygmy rooster waspfish, so yes, venomous.

do you guys know what I should feed it?

Do you have any small fish in your tank? These guys are predators, so they will probable eat smaller fish.

The ones I have dealt with were very easy to feed, accepting most frozen food.
